  • Great for therapy

I've recently started working with materials from the Entire World of /r/. This app mirrors the techniques shown in that program. I'm happy to use an app with a phonetically appropriate word list.
  • Lost Data:(

I really liked this App, however it seems to freeze periodically and wiped out all my students info/data when I installed the update.
  • Pappytmh

I was looking for instructions to try different features. There are none. It would help to know at the outset that it's a set of flashcards with groupings.
  • Good app - needs some changes

I basically like this app. It is a good source for all your r needs. The picture selection needs upgrading though.
  • Buyer beware

This app has several pictures that may offend or scare kids. One word is vampire accompanied by a scary looking lady with black lips and a low cut dress. Escort has a picture of a convict being escorted by a police man. It is not possible to pick specific vocabulary so if you use /or/ or /ire/ you are stuck with the pictures.

This app is also awkward to use. You have to score before moving to the next word. You can't back up. You can't pick sound positions within words.

Artici pix has almost as many /r/ and is easier to use. You also get other sounds with artic pix.

  • Nice but could be better

This has a nice selection of words, but would love to have a record option. Also, would like to have phrases to practice, not just complete sentences and isolated words.
  • Pretty Good

I like this app for my complex /r/ cases. Its nice to have a more in depth app to cover /r/. With this app I can target the specific vocalic /r/ variants that my students need. The pictures are not my favorite, but most of my students are a little older so its not really a problem for me. I would recommend.

  • Great app

    I love this app!!!
  • Disappointed

If you want to pay $19 for a set of flash cards, this is a good app for you.
  • Good app!

Always looking for extra /r/ therapy applications. The students love working on the iPad with Smarty Ears apps!
