Great for QR Links !
I just use this to load links from QR codes and it works fast, stores link history, and has a flash always on option. Click the link and it loads the page. I also haven't really seen any ads other than the 'buy pro now' link on the history page. Pro also doesn't seem to have any benefit other than to support the developers. A lot of the poor reviews are from people looking to scan store items and bring up a price comparison for items online. This app is really not sophisticated enough for that. Simply doesn’t work!
So I downloaded this app in the hope it would assist me to search items available from a range of stores and identify indicative market value of the item...unfortunately it has not identified one item scanned...simply opens Google yet doesn’t even search?
Is this cause I live in the Southern Hemisphere perhaps?

This app used to give you product information when you scanned a product. Now it just forwards you to Google Shopping, where you have to manually type in the product name. If the scanning function does nothing, why do I need this useless middle step?#unhappyshopper

Simple to use, works effortlessly
I downloaded the app 4 years ago and I have never had any issues with scanning QR codes or barcodes. It keeps a record of previously scanned codes so you can go back to weblink if needed to. I tried taking a photo of a barcode, but the app didn’t recognise it, that said if you have the app on your phone why do you need to take a photo of the barcode. Some barcodes are incorrect so they will not work, this is no fault of the app.Show lessTori4eva
