Great Toy
I think FixPix should be approached as a toy rather than a game. You shouldn't try to beat each level as fast as possible, as you might for a game, but instead play around with each level just for the sheer enjoyment of it. I'd pay $1.99 just to look at 100 pieces of eBoy artwork, and that I get to interact with them makes it well worth the price.Show lessEdwardLM
fabulous.
This is really great; quirky 8-bit style art and unique gameplay blend into a really unique puzzler. The way the images move are quite interesting, and you can reveal 'secret' parts of the picture that won't show upon solving; thus , making moving the 'broken' puzzle as interesting as viewing the finished picture. Upscales on the iPad really well. Would love to see more images added on a regular basis.Show lessDieseliPhone
Doesn't live up to the hype
So it's finally here, one of the most hyped iPhone games in a while. Sadly I've found to be a disappointment for a few reasons.
Firstly, the frame rate is nothing short of abysmal. Considering all the game is doing is scrolling around a few flat 2D images it limps and splutters along as if it's on the verge of death. Perhaps those with iPhone 3GSs will do better, but on an old 3G it's just awful.
Secondly the sound, or near total lack of it. With such nice looking 2D retro artwork you would expect some great 8-bit inspired music. Sadly all you get is a beep or two when you complete a level. Aside from that, the game is silent.
The gameplay itself is fun enough, if very simplistic, but it just feels half baked as an overal package.Show lessKotatsu Neko

Fun - but needs navigation
I've played about 10 puzzles and its fun, but I agree with the other comments, there's no way to go back to previous puzzles. This is important espcially if you want to share the game play with someone else.slatemass
Nice little app
Great fun little game. Quite short, completing in just over half an hour, but plenty of replay value.
Found the difficulty more random than progressive.

Engadget has been talking about this game for a while now, but I wasent sure how it would play out. All I have to say is wow. I truley am
Stunned. Some of the most original 8bit eye candy I have seen in a looooong time. But like the other people have said I wish there were more. It must have taken forever to draw though! Good luck e boy. And let's hope for some free updates very soon!!Show lessHybridConceptz

Been playing this for a while and it's very good...the artwork is good to look at. Only thing that I would like to see changed is that once the level is complete there is a big bubble in the screen asking if you want to go to the next level. This really gets in the way of seeing the whole picture,which is kind of the point of the whole game. If this wa fixed then it would be 5 stars!Show lessShaady
