I just paid 4.99 for this app because my other Foscam app looses camera contact. This app doesn’t even have a way to scan my camera for WiFi set up. What am I missing??? Foscam apps and cameras can be very unreliable, frustrating and user unfriendly!!sable702

Where is the Local Camera Address?
I had the previous version of this app it was infinitely better. With this version I can only view my cameras with my WiFi off as there is no obvious place to input the local camera address. It appears that during set up you can choose either the Remote Camera Address OR the Local Address. Why not both? For $7 I would hope this would work as seamlessly as the previous version. I had very old Foscam app and it was working perfect on my iPhone.
It’s not available anymore and I bought this one. There’s no sound at all.

Useless!
I bought this app in good faith only to discover that it doesn’t work with Foscam’s R2 series of cameras — and 6 of my 9 security cameras are R2 models. At no point in the listing for this app does it warn that it won’t work with all Foscam cameras. That’s kind of basic, isn’t it? I want my money back.Show lessMr. Bleau
Waste of money
I have used several Foscam apps but this is by far the worst.
Camera set up is terrible- the camera test shows that my cameras are connected but there are no video feeds
Gave up trying in the end and used Foscam pro instead, a much better appDlw1964

I have 5 Foscam cameras that I monitor when away. This app is perfect for me to check and control from my smart phone. My cameras let me know if they detect motion and this app allows me see what's going on. I can turn on/off or adjust motion detection from the app as well. When on wi-fi you can use the app all you want. I have a limited data plan and taking an occasional look has not been a problem.
The one issue I’ve found is the snapshot saving to camera roll does not work. Tells me to allow access to microphone but that option is not available. After multiple attempts to contact them for support I get no response.Show lessRwwsuperb
