The new update requires ios 4.2, so anyone who can't update to ios 4.x (hello), and can't skip or ignore the update, so will have to update each app individually.
This game is mildly entertaining, and worth the download since it's free, but not worth the effort of individually updating apps, since the actual game play is typical on/off hand-held driving game quality (steering is full left or full right; gas & brake are on or off - no feathering), so I'll just delete it instead.
I just bought this game and I love it. I've been gokart racing before and this looks just like it. Don't listen to the bad reviews of this game because they're just spoiled brats. Buy the full version because it is soooooo worth it !
This app is better than most apps that you have to stear by moving the iPod and it's cool that you can pick different color karts it could use more karts and a couple different tracks.
Ok, overall, this game is.... well, not so great. Bad! It's a little hard to control, and there's only one track. It would be nice to customize a few things. It's actually pretty confusing, if you don't actually go kart.
This app consumed me irritatingly and couldn't be an app I would recommend that I see anytime in the future. The cigarette lighter app is much more amusing then this joke of an app that not only is boring but actually frustrating, the difficulty level was almost ridiculous for the first. I just want to play a simple racing game, not one of those crappy mini games like in donkey kong where they put the not so great game creating engineers to work. I recommend downloading however anyway because it's so pitiful it's a must see, but just don't stay to long, it's not deserving enough for Anyones time past the 2-5 minute mark.
Thers a lot of bad reviews but this is actually a decent app. For all the idiots you can pause the game and change the settings if you really want a gas and brake. Also this app is a bit of a battery drained.
There's lots of bad reviews...but I like it. I think it's pretty easy to steer after you get used to it. It's simple and fun and I really like it. I think you should just try it because it's free. It's def worth it(:
The steering is hard... For the first 5 seconds of course stupid people quit as soon as they run into a wall or something. It is really fun except needs another track or two and racing mode but then again that's why they have a full version.

This app is okay. Unfortunately it runs very slow on my iPod. I've noticed it often gets stuck in places, but nothing too serious. It can get boring after a while, and I deleted it about 30 minutes after I purchased it. For being free, I would say that you could like it, could not like it. Kind of depends on how much space you have left on your iPod. If you only have 1GB or so left, I wouldn't recommend this game. If you have a reasonable amount of space left, it wouldn't matter if you used up the space for this game or not. Hope this helps...
