  • Great app, many boards, good graphics!

I've been playing mahjong for quite some time, and have tried different apps which eventually expire and you have to "purchase" to continue on playing, but this app is not like that or I haven't yet reached my limit =) but it's actually a very good & time consuming app which offers a huge verity of difficulty boards and has nice graphics. While I was searching for a good mahjong app I was sitting in the bathroom, killing time, and when finally discovered this app we became forever time companions while doing #2. So I highly recommend!

  • Fun!!

It’s a straight forward game, with tons of boards to enjoy. It’s a great game with simple principles. The adds are not intrusive on the game as they play before each board. View or exit then on to the next board. So as far as free game apps that get their revenue from adds this one is great, and truth be told I believe I actually take an extra second to look at the add where I haven’t in other apps where the add interrupts the play.

  • challenging and fun.

I’ve always loved this game and this app is really great. there are hundreds of boards, daily exclusive boards and there is just the right amount of challenge! just when you get down a rhythm and think you are going to breeze through all of them boards you come across one that is more on the difficult side. I can play this game forever and might be doing just that with all of the boards this game has to offer. it’s definitely a game for killing time when you need to!

  • Beautiful tile set

Games timed, but only to give a star rating for your score. You also get stars for completing without hints or shuffles. Lots and lots of layouts... I’ve only used about 5% so far. Nice not having a limited number of shuffles and hints ( and even better not being expected to pay for more) Does have full-screen ads, don’t know if there is a way to opt out. So far, games seem a bit too easy, but that may change as I get farther. Like being able to go back to previous levels.

  • Landscape

It’s ok, very similar to the previous one, however the portrait aspect of it is VERY annoying
  • Fun game

I like this version of MaJong because of the many different patterns. It’s fun, some puzzle patterns are more challenging than others but it isn’t so hard that you lose interest by becoming stuck on one pattern for days on end.
It does have a lot of advertising, but you can click out of them quickly (versus the ones that require full viewing of 30/60 seconds) so while it is annoying, it’s not as bad as other apps.

  • Relaxing, slightly challenging

There are no lives to lose, so you can play as long as you want to. The boards so far are somewhat challenging. You can take as long as you want, and reshuffle or restart as many times as you need, but if you want to achieve 3 stars, you have to finish in the allotted time and with no shuffles or restarts. So there’s an element of challenge if you want. Not sure what the stars get you, other than more stars. The boards so far all seem to be winnable; I’m hoping there are more challenging boards ahead.
TLDR: More of a relaxing than challenging game. No real incentive to earn stars or more challenging boards.

  • Very Pleasing to the Eyes & Ears

I’ve played a lot of Mahjong apps and this is one of the best. The tiles are big and loaded with bright, vibrant colors. There are many backgrounds and tile patterns to choose from. I particularly like the default tiles and the hombre background - they're just gorgeous. I typically mute the music on game apps but this music is relaxing and beautiful. I also like the fact that tiles that are too many layers down are lightly shaded out, plus they do a little wiggle dance if you try to match them too early. Some mahjong apps give you no indication (visually) that a tile is unavailable, and you have to figure it out by trial-and-error after hitting the tile several times. When you’re moving fast that is just annoying. So, thumbs-up to the makers of this app. It’s a winner!

  • Mahjong Titan

    This game is quite addicting!
It runs VERY smoothly with none of the typical glitches you find in most free games. I’ve already played all of the free levels and have purchased some additional packs, and I haven’t had a problem yet
My only complaint is that the levels you purchase aren’t large enough, and there is no bundle price. I’ve played many games where you could buy all add-on packs as a bundle AND sometimes you would get all future releases for free. I would buy that!
Oh, sorry, I do have one more suggestion... you can sort your boards by completed/not completed, but you cannot sort to find which levels have 3 stars and which don’t. I would definitely use that feature. Right now you have to scroll each board to see your stars.

  • Easy on the eyes

Love these tiles! I tend to like the mahjong that all top tiles are open and when I use them the tile underneath it opens. The games like yours where only some tiles are visible and when these are used tiles adjacent to it appear, or nothing opens. There does not seem to be much of a strategy to workout. So I tend to use this game if I am tired just for relaxation.
