HUD is amazing!
I was looking for a simple speedometer app when I came across this. The heads up display looked neat but I thought there was no way it could actually work well. After trying it out I was amazed, the heads up display is perfect and comes as a great addition to driving at night. Absolutely wonderful app!Show less----Adam
Some People Expect the Earth
Felt compelled to write a review for this, as there are lots slating these free speedometers for being 'rubbish'. I found no such problems, considering the limitations of the hardware. Constant speed was spot-on accurate with a dedicated GPS device, one can't expect a GPS speed calculation to react quickly. I tried a few free apps, they all worked but this was by far the simplest and best presented. For five stars, make it work in portrait and make it full screen on the iPhone 5.Show lessTGChilds

Great app! Maybe adding a choice of different backlight colors . Blue is a soft color but can get intense when at night when not using HUD.TCW291

I wrote at first that it never connected to a GPS signal. I deleted it and downloaded iut again and it works awesome! I duggest others that can't get a signal as well to do the same! Love it!moonlizard1
Surprisingly accurate
Currently using the app on an iPhone 5, your mileage may vary on previous iPhones, but overall I found this app to be overall very accurate and simple to use.
The HUD mode is interesting and aims to replicate the windshield HUD found in a lot of newer BMW's and such, and overall it works well, but only during the evening.
All said and done, for a free app, it does what it states.
