Same Old Same Old

Six months ago I gave up on the old app because is was a train wreck. Tried to down load the new and “improved” version. Couldn’t get in. There’s a page where I’m apparently supposed to indicate whether I’m a new reader or…something else. I can’t tell what the “something else” is because there is a promo blurb of some kind covering the page. Can’t get the promo blurb to open, can’t get rid of it, can’t access the buttons that would permit me to move forward. You guys are hopeless.

Magazine itself is excellent but may be worst app on Apple

Been a subscriber for well over a decade. Issues the whole time. Now the new app hasn’t opened for over 3 months. This after my back issues that I’d paid for had been ‘lost’ when they originally relaunched. Reluctantly going to cancel as the complete lack of support just exacerbates the problems.

Great magazine confusing schedule

This is a great magazine with a broad range of interesting articles, I just wish it was consistent in its publication date. No idea as to if or when the next issue comes out even though I’m a digital subscriber through Apple

Not a functioning app

I was excited to see that there was an SI app that actually worked, after the last one just crashed repeatedly. This one claims that your account/cloud will sync with it eventually, but it’s been 24 hours and I’m still only seen spinning wheels every time I go to this app. Even when skipping the “login” stuff and going back to the home screen, all options (including buying an issue of SI) etc., are nonfunctional, spinning wheels.

Worst in Customer Service

A simple request… purchase the current SI Swimsuit issue, but like any current issue for the past three years I’ve tried purchasing via the Apple Store and the SI app tells me to try again when my connection is better.

My connection is top of the line and only SI’s app has an issue with it.

So I reach out to customer service every time…NOTHING. No response…ever.

App changes without warning

I bought the SI subscription from Apple, when I bought my iPad 5+ years ago. I have tried to archive my favourite magazines, but every time the app changes I need to recover the archive. Now, with the latest version, I cannot even access the library to try and recover the archive.

Not a Great App

The app keeps wanting me to log in after a
few days. This is really inconvenient. The old
app was much better. I am about ready to
Give up on it. I hope SI is making a lot of money on this app.

Finally this app is useable

The latest updates were exactly what this app needed. I’m a print subscriber and now use this app. Thank you

Where’s my purchase?

Hey,
I’ve restored purchases bought through my Apple account, except the 2019 Swimsuit I bought hasn’t restored, and the issue itself has gone up in price. Could you refund my original purchase, or restore the issue? Ta. (Other issues turned up just fine. It’s just this one. Why is that?)

Terrible UX

This app is what happens when private equity moron dogs take over for real journalists. I wish I could tell you the interface and content are 5-stars, but that would mean I was able to get to that point.

Run, don’t walk, to download this app if you enjoy getting stuck in an activation loop. Otherwise, this is a hard pass
