News site that values ad revenue over User Experience
A News app that focuses more on ad revenue by selling pages that slow down the user experience of their own app. Ridiculous gaming ads take complete control of the app, do not allow users to even dismiss, and another 20-30 seconds of your life has just been wasted. I had high respect once upon a time for NDTV. Any app that prioritizes ad placement over UX does so at the cost of diminishing returns. I refuse to be suckered by such outlets going forward. Poor quality
Turning from best to worst. With constant ad pop-ups. Some can’t close also as they cover full screen without close(x) option. Making you reboot phone. Video’s played leave voice track open even when app is closed and play in music app on bluetooth. Too much content and at times repeat on the home page.Show lessVikings2023
Gone worse
This has moved from a decent app to worse, granted everyone is trying to monetize from their app and injecting advertisements but you can’t inject adv at the launch of the app and especially an adv with loud sound, how do they expect the user to know when they can open the app if they are in a quiet env. If this continues then sadly I’ll have to move to someone else.Show lessSinha06

Ads annoying
When you open the app, the ad pop up and the sound starts off. Can the ad start without the sound. In the mute mode? This wakes up everyone in the night.Capn109
Launch Ads with speaker without permisson
When I open the app it automatically starts playing ad with audio. It doesn’t wait for me to enable the speaker. Very annoying….i would not open the app now unless I am home.kpcp-1
Annoying advertisements with launch of app
Ads popping up at the start of the app are annoying and skip video option doesn’t work. After years of reading news time to delete this app. The one star is solely based on these ads.DD1224765

Not good user experience
On-launch advertisement Vedika are poor grade and very frustrating. User experience not kept in mind. For most of the news, on click opens a video news along with the text. It is really unnecessary. Video should be explicit for interested user and should not be a default behavior as it frustrates the user as well as unnecessary data usage. I deleted the app.Show lessgenuinereview07
