Excellent!
I'm very much enjoying the content from the "Green" and "History" channels which offer documentaries on Canada's National Parks, agricultural history, natural resources and more.
Favorite features of this application:
A) The ability to download video content for off-line viewing. The application sets a 48-hour window for viewing and then automatically removes the content.
B) Using the "Favorites" feature to tag films to which I'd like to return later.
C) Using the "Related Films" link to find films of similar content.

A truly fantastic app, worth the cost of an I Pad for this alone. A world of award winning animation and documentaries ( some quite difficult to get access to - not anymore). You can also download them to watch for up to 48 hours later and in HD. No special effects driven mind pap here, just a sublime cinema experience. Thank you NFB of CanadaShow lessjohnny randan
Poor performance of NFB app
Very buggy application. Since there are only few of these on app store, other one is SNAG, which is US only. But another one that shows huge promise and is a great app for documentary films is FILM FESTIVAL TV instead. Much more variety of documentaries. It is TV interface thought, but love the documentary films since they have much more broader backgrounds/Show lessWSJ Writer

I was very excited by this app, but soon found there was no sound, just beautiful moving picture. No good for watching. Hope they fix it soon.Dar3366

AirPlay Makes a World of Difference
Was always a nice app. The style where every film has it's own page with a transparent overlay, is quite beautiful. At home, I only want to play video on my TV, so the new AirPlay feature sends this app over the top. Absolutely terrific!Japester

Constant craving - I mean, crashing
Films are great. Too bad they can't be viewed due to the app crashing almost immediately upon loading. Sort it out, developers.Cleankent
