Doesn't let you see the messages on you're computer, has to keep it open on your phone while you use it, and you still have to press send on the phone! What is the point of this app besides stealing your money? Needs a MAJOR updateY'all rock
Great! Idea in need of improvements
This app is solid and everything is fluid, it's just that if a person wants to rely on there Mac to do there text they still need there iPhone to to press send on it, I think that feature should be removed other then that it gets 3 stars but remove the "send" button on iPhone & it's a 5 star appReEsey_X

misleading -- don't buy
I purchased this with the intent that it would allow me to send SMS messages from my mac. It simply doesn't do this. It only allows you to type the message on your computer and populate the sms box on the iPhone. You then still have to pick up the phone and 'send'.
The point was to not have to bother with the phone when I am at my mac.
The need for the functionality is clear. Someone would have a very useful app to sell if they got this right.Show lesscaffeine_shirt
Scam or lazy?
As of now this app is worthless, and should be pulled from shelf. It is either a scam or the uncompleted aspiration of a lazy developer. I want my money back.chatcub
Works just as I expected
This app gets a lot of bad reviews, but I was just looking for something that will allow me to type my SMS messages with my MacBook Air or iMac. That is exactly what it does. Once I downloaded it, the set up was confusing at first but once I opened the preferences, set the "Show note after sending" ON, "Enable Wi-Fi at launch" ON and "Auto Connect" ON all went well. I downloaded the app for the iMac from the Apple App Store and all works as advertised.
I only have two issue:
1) Developer has to do a better job describing how to set it all up
2) $1.99 is a bit more than I expected to pay, but still affordableShow lessGordito1973
Tricky, but DOES work
Ok here's how it works: you HAVE to download the app for your iPhone!!
- your iPhone has to be on and the app has to be running.
- sync it to the Mac app via wifi
- select your numbers, type up your message and press send on the Mac
- the message will appear on your SMS on your IPHONE! Press send on your iPhone!
So basically, the Mac app generates the message and sends to your phone to be sent off instead of having to use the iPhone keyboard. Good for what it's worth. Best to use it for mass txts.
If I could recommend a change to the author, it would be two things:
1. Have the Mac app auto send it off on your phone instead of making the user do it.
2. Enable the iPhone app to run in the background so you do not have to worry about the sync everytime you send a message.
