  • I Can Sleep Now!

It used to take me 30 - 60 minutes for me to fall asleep (60 in extreme cases) since i have sleeping problems. Now, it takes a pleasant 5 to 7 minutes with the brown noise. I love this!

Very neat timer (as to not waste battery) and playing with screen off (battery, again)
  • Sleep well with this app!

I thought this app was going to be stupid but I liked it after the first night I used it so I kept it! I like paradise and also brown noise. Some of the others are a little loud for me but I dig it. It's worth the download.
  • Not so great

The sounds sound more or less the same as one another which basically sounds like when you leave your tv on a no signal channel and it makes that fuzzy sound! This app should take advice from the samsung galaxy that phone does it well with tranquil music!!
  • It is average

Every sound makes me need to go to the toilet
  • Time outt doesnt work

I was initially sceptical but the sounds put me straight to sleep, however the timer has stopped working after one use, all i get is a black screen.
EDIT: timer has started working again, i have to press it twice to get it to start, but it does work.
  • Lovely

Some of the sounds (furnace and train) don't really make sense to me. The rainforest needs to be more than just rain... Other than that I'm really enjoying the app and I unlocked all sounds. I'm not upset with my purchase but I don't mind improvement ether. I haven't used this to sleep just yet but I have used it while working in school and I am able to focus.

  • Busy

Afraid to say I didn't find the sounds very relaxing. There seemed to be quiet a lot going on in them and I had to turn it off so I could get some sleep, which kinda reflects poorly on an app called iDream Sleep Maker
  • Cool I guess

I got the app and it's pretty neat, I especially like thunderstorm but why doesn't the timer fade out work? Please fix as this was what I wanted
  • misleading

free app, you have to pay for all of the sounds after you download it. whats wrong with this picture? the sounds themselves are poor.
  • Runs in the background-- for free!

Very happy with this app!! All the comments below are about the free version.

    PROS:
    - It's the only free white-noise app I've found that runs continuously in the background (it's going while I write this review, in fact) & when phone is locked.

    - Super customizable time-settings: set it to run for as little as 1 minute or as long as 11 hours, 59 minutes.

    - Sound-wise, it offers a bunch of interesting variations on similar themes, so for instance you can listen to waves on a sandy beach, or waves on a pebbled beach. (The pebbled beach is great!)

    - You can also have your choice about different "colors" of white noise-- white, pink, etc. I love this b/c it basically amounts to a noise-canceling app-- good for those of us who want to put on some headphones and do some work accompanied by a pretty neutral, non-identifiable sound. (Some of the white noise sounds out there are static-y & painful! But these are very soft, soothing, & low-key.)
    - free! ! !

    (very minor) CON:
    - no photos to go with the sounds. (Personally, I say, who cares! The photos on apps like these are usually pretty cheesy anyway. No great loss!)

OVERALL: an excellent, high-functioning free app with a strong roster of sounds & with the very desirable battery-saving quality of running in the background, even when the phone is locked. Download it & give it a go!
