  • IN THIS DAY & AGE, INDISPENSABLE!!!

This is perhaps the singular most important emergency situation awareness application that addresses the entire globe in real time.

Keep this alongside your avalanche awareness apps (for those downhill and cross country skiers among you). This app is connected to all of the latest emergency response & coordination centres around the planet in various 'hot spots', and is fed real-time data for up to the second situation awareness.

Everybody and every family should have this app on their phones and tablets, but especially those who live in geologically sensitive or unstable regions, along fault lines and subduction zones (like the Cascadia subduction zone which makes San Andreas Fault in California seem like a crack in the sidewalk in comparison.)

I can almost guarantee that you will be completely blown away by the level of incredible activity currently happening on our little blue planet. This app covers everything from floods, hurricanes, cyclones, tornados, tsunamis, earthquakes, volcanos (both the conventional variety and Calderas like
Yellowstone), and a variety of others. You will know what's happening long before the major news networks, radio stations magazines and newspapers. (Though they have been considerably less than forthcoming in the past, if you can trust him to tell you the truth at all.

This is one way for you to be proactive for yourself or your family, because it might be the only chance you get. Definitely an app for preppers, though it'll only be of use if the cellular service is still up and running after the fact and still connected to the emergency telemetry broadcasting infrastructure.

Never before in the history of mankind is the high technology being so incredibly advanced, networked and connected to every relevant major database and data acquisition beacons around the planet to help all of us be aware, and hopefully prepared.

It is worthwhile getting the optional in app purchase which will let you can figure the app to areas of your particular interest and concern. Greatly simplifies and unclutters the screen and streamlines the data that's coming to you, keeping it timely, relevant potentially life saving.

I really hate to blab on and on about this app but it is significant enough and in light of the condition of the planet these days it would be a crime if this kind about went by totally unnoticed and wasted.

    Ciao . . .

Excellent app I recommended for stay alert all time about the world
  • Not working

Have used this app before and had no problems. However, the new version gives me a screen with tips only and I have tried to download many times but still just get a tips page and nothing else - whats happened???
  • Very informative apps

Nice to have this apps, you're up to date on what's going on our planet earth
  • Eye Opening App

I don't know about other people but sometimes I get "tunnel vision" and tend to focus more on what is going on in my little corner of the world. This app has been an eye opener for me in terms of the bigger picture about calamities occurring all over our world. It is sobering to see so many disasters and makes me much more appreciative of each day. The app is easy to navigate and very informative. It's definitely a keeper.

  • Not impressed

I had this app a few years ago it was great back then. When the big earthquake hit Montana this year, I remembered this app and quickly went to download it for future events. It's been a while now and Montana currently has 175,000 acres on fire right now and not one notification has popped up. I see notifications of tornados two years ago and fires in other states but nothing but dry weather conditions warnings. This app is useless to me if I can't have current events for my state. Just about to delete this app unfortunately.

  • Forced paid subscription

App is okay but you can't filter alerts to ones that have any sort of relevance to you. They also try you to pay a logre monthly or yearly fee for things that should be free. I would have been open to paying a smaller, one-time fee, but clearly they have not tested this with a market yet.
  • Disasters do not match daily occurrences in my searches

In searching for some of the disasters quoted in the app, I looked up mentions of tornadoes and other events occurring in the United States by checking the weather channels and the Google references. I was not seeing correlations between listed disasters on this app and occurrences in the areas where the disasters were listed.

  • Great app

Really helpful to see what's happening out there, especially when I'm on the road.
  • Fair to partly cloudy

This app leaves out or they don't know of other reported events that happens as the earthquake in Northwest Tennessee on Feb. 2017 never showed up on this app ! There need to be a archives search on this app for back information, if you want to track back history. Nothing reported on nuclear waste of Japan Monitoring or other sites. No links to lake or river pollution levels that each U.S. state documents and reports. I probably want keep this app much longer ! If you get this app opp out of notices an alert ! You'll get pop ups all the time ! You can turn off in the app also !
