ENDORSEMENTS “I understand how hard it is to eat healthy food while traveling. Dr. Aldana and a panel of experts have taken a lot of the guess work out of the issue and have made it easier to make good choices. I realize there are days when you might just want to splurge and “go for Red”, but having an easy to understand guide of the best choices for good health while having to eat on the run is a ‘sweet treat.” -Mike Huckabee Former Governor of Arkansas “Fast food is a reality for most people. Even the most conscientious eaters have to pass through airports and stop at roadside restaurants where healthy choices are limited. The Fast Food Guide offers practical advice to help you navigate the fast food wilderness and make the best possible decisions about what to eat when in it.” -Dr. Andrew Weil Author of Eating Well for Optimum Health “It’s about time a book like this is written! If it does nothing more than generate much needed discussion, it’s worth it. Try it for your guide.” -T. Colin Campbell, Ph.D. Author of The China Study FEATURES *25,000 color coded fast foods *143 of the nation’s most popular fast food restaurants *Expert video presentation “Learn from Experts” *Store our favorite fast food selections *Search by food category, color, or restaurant Restaurants: The app includes fast food data from every fast food restaurant in the U.S. that has data. • Criteria used

I haven’t read the book ( it is referenced). At quick glance, this will be great, but I’d love to know what the criteria was between the colors (maybe the book says). Some foods look to be the same caloric value or sodium value. Are there other things taken into consideration? I do plan to reference this the next time I go out to eat. Thank you

  • Nov. 2020 free app seems to work as expected!

Our workplace health plan recommended we take a look at this APP. (We were also provided PDF version of the restaurant info provided in the app). I did a quick look around the within the Arby’s and Burger King items, and all the info seems legit. Color-coded red-yellow-green to help you identify some healthier choices when eating/ordering fast food. I think low star rating reviews may have been for an older, paid version of this app? But, as a free informational it it seems to work very well along with some other apps that I currently have on my phone to track caloric intake, etc.
