Fantastic, beefy app
All business owners would benefit very much from this app. I'm so impressed I felt I should write a review. Well worth the download. There are so many training modules that I got the hang of it without much difficulty at all and this is a powerful tool.
Login & Password required
I downloaded this app but could not use it as a special login is required. I tried to contact their support center but haven't received any answer so far.
Needs updated information
Great application overall, but needs more recent information than from 2009!

Great version for iPad !
Users... Be aware that you need to have a Relational DW in place before you can use this app for your own purposes as well as prior knowledge of Microstrategy in order to set up your own project.
Microstrategy; we need to have much better support for prompts as well as nested prompts.
I hope that in the future you build a product as robust as your web app.

Crashing
It keeps crashing. Pls fix this issue at the earliest.
Unusable
I have been unable to use this app due to it's persistent crashing! Whilst trying to read through the 'getting started' document, I am only able to reach the 2nd page before I am suddenly greeted with my home screen (once again)
I am unfortunately not able to comment on this app's usability and usefulness as I have not managed to use it yet!!!

great app, if your company uses MS
This is one of the best business intelligence apps out there. It's designed to be used with the Microstrategy BI suite, so it's not something you can just download and use. If your company doesn't use MS for business intelligence analysis, don't bother downloading the app, because it doesn't do anything on its own. However, if you already use MS at work, you won't be disappointed by this app. It has some really slick visualizations, and is a great way to communicate ideas to people who are impressed by pretty pictures, i.e. most people. I only have two complaints about this app. The first is that it doesn't support all of the visualizations that the web version does (it uses Flash, so you can't use it on an iPad) but I think MS is working on this. It also seems to be pretty difficult to get the MS mobile apps to work outside of the company firewall, but I think that might be a problem that our IT person is having, rather than something inherently wrong with the app itself.

Infomercial
This app is basically a advertisement for microstrategy. It has no functionality at all. I use microtratgey at work and was hoping to leverage the app to log on and use on the ipad. Maybe later...what a waste.

This app is not a standalone app, it is for connecting to the MicroStrategy business intelligence platform.
The demo data shows some good examples of apps you can build with this tool.
If you use Microstrategy, get on the mobile wagon, if you are evaluating tools their position in mobile should be one of the things that tips the scale in a shoot-out.
