All Versions of The Elementals

3.0

October 4, 2019

Completely rebuilt with smoother animations and sound effects. More importantly, we've updated with all the new elements found in the last few years – from Nihonium to Oganesson! Also includes information about electron configurations, melting and boiling point and density of each of the elements. On top of all that, electrons are now visually grouped in their proper orbits (up to around 40 electrons, it gets hard to follow with more than that!).

Reviews of The Elementals

  • Update

Make an update so there can be multiple atoms on the screen
  • Electrons need work

Confusing on electrons, teach the subject in middle school and this would cause problems. Misconceptions in science is one of my greatest challenges in the classroom, this would make matters worse. Fix electrons and the app would be greatly improved.
  • The design is cute.

It's handy for some things, but it would be nice if the valence electrons were shown. Cobalt is spelled wrong on this app.
