Take a moment to create a backup or export your writing before updating. - Fixed the notebook cover font issue (previously the font would revert to the default after opening a notebook) - Performance enhancements (reduced memory usage) This update corrects an issue introduced in the previous update. I'm incredibly sorry about missing that during testing. It affected roughly a third of users, most running iOS 3.2. I tried to fix it as fast as possible but with any update there's at least a few days wait while the software is reviewed for inclusion on the store. I hope to earn your trust again. The reviews were beautiful before that incident and I'll work hard to make sure this never happens again. Contact me if you need anything!

As always, consider making a backup from within the app before updating. Contact me if you need help. *** There are some reported issues with iOS 3.2. If you're running iOS 3.2 you should wait for the 1.0.7 update *** Mostly a maintenance release, with a couple extras: * Added clear button to make editing notebook title easier * App uses 10-30% less memory in many cases, especially when dealing with photos. * Photo thumbnails are now a little larger by default * Better autosave support to prevent data loss on new OS version (thanks Alex) * Link detection; any URLs you type can be tapped and opened * REMOVED Zapfino font * ADDED Courier font at the request of a couple writers (especially screenwriters). * Fixed memory leak on main notebook gallery page * Fixed rare but possible crash situation that occurred when you tapped on an entry to edit it NOTE: the first time you view older entries with many photos you may notice a lag as the app optimizes the photo for use with the new version. ANOTHER NOTE: An issue with fonts on the notebook covers reverting to the default will be fixed in the next update (already submitted)

Description of Chapters

Chapters lets you create and manage multiple notebooks, each fully searchable and with its own settings. Keep a travel journal, a photo log, a notebook about ongoing work projects, and your own personal diary in one app. Manage writing projects. Create as many notebooks as you want and fill each with as much as you need to write. Choose a color theme, font, text color, and page color for each notebook. Focused writing. Multiple photos per entry that you can move, resize, rotate - your words flow around them. Reliable storage, autosave, and passcode lock protect your words; share or read them on your computer with PDF, text, and email export. You can also create backups and save them to other apps such as Dropbox, Drive, and Evernote. Add a passcode to lock the app and keep your writing private. Enable word count to see how much you've written. You can also enable the extra keyboard buttons to jump forward and backward by word or character with a single tap, saving you time so you can focus on writing. Work while using other apps with support for Slide Over and Split View multitasking on iPad. Not interested in managing multiple notebooks? Have a look at Chronicle, an app that focuses on keeping a single personal journal. The new version has issues

I used the old version of the app for quite a few years. I write every day. at the end of the year, I like to dump my journals to my computer using explorer on my Mac. Now this feature no longer exist on the app. I can no longer do that and it makes the app completely useless for me. It only allows you to output one page at a time. They have an archive feature, but it outputs in its own format, which is useless.

GREAT app, POOR customer service!!

I love this app! I’ve used it for years. BUT… Steven Romej is TERRIBLE when it comes to customer service, despite his website in which he claims to address EVERY concern personally.
I’ve written to him (on HIS email form) numerous times and he has NEVER returned my emails.

GREAT job on the app - TERRIBLE customer service.
