I live in Alaska where mosquitos are plentiful in the summer. I sat outside for about ten minutes with this on and it seemed to work. A few landed on my jeans. I went inside not wanting to risk it and closed the screen door. About fifteen mosquitos clung to the screen so I turned the app back on and put the phone right against them. Nothing. They didn't even flinch. I knew it was on because my husband and I can hear the sound when we put the speaker to our ears. Maybe it works better with external speakers?Show lesstimmidali

I haven't been bitten once when i've used this app. It's a battery drainer tho. Does not work with gnats or flies.phillybarb

Did not work for me at all
I spend a lot of time outside and I commited to using this for a month. Not one time did i get a break from mosquitoes. It was worth a try since the other ratings are very good. It just was not gonna work for me.Aela11
So far so good!
I hate sitting on my back porch and getting chewed on by mosquitos. I particularly hate them buzzing around my head and have tried several apps with minimal success. Either they seemed to attract more Mosquitos or they didn't work if I wanted to do something else on my iPhone. This app seems to be working!! Hurray!! I think I can hear the sound but it's ok. Amazingly Amazing
This app is completely awesome. I am glad that with this app you can multitask and use other apps. I was glad that they made an update so you wouldn't need to hear the annoying sound thru the headphones. I got 1 mosquito bite while I had this app, and that was when it was turned offVischy#1
