My daughter has just reached the final trophy. How can I reset her so that she can start all over again.
Would it be possible to be able to record pocket money - a bit like in the app Kids allowance?Aussie flybaby
Crashes when starting
When I tap on the icon, a blank screen came up, I thought it was part of the loading, but right away, it returns to the iPad's home screen. It never really loads, just crashes.Major Eazy
Great for working towards a goal
This is a great app, if only I could work out how to sync it with my iPhone! I like the goals that you can work towards, save for something small quickly or save your stars for something big!Happyhippychick
Syncing makes it even better!
This app has always been excellent and has given my children more incentive to do their chores, but the ability to sync with my iPhone makes it far more useful. Now I can update it while we are out if necessary. Previously I would have just forgotten to do it!
If we could set the starting day of a week it would be better, and I'd also prefer that clicking on the photo took you to the chart, rather than the smaller "chart" button. Afterall, that's the function you need to use several times a day, not changing the photo.Show lessPixielation

Great app, even better with some improvements
I like the concept and the interface and usability is very good. I would give 5 stars if it would have password to avoid kids accessing the app, if you could choose week starting on Monday and show dates in dd/mm/yyyy format and as a plus if it would be possible to add notes (sometimes I don't remember what a gave a -1 and I'm sure there was a good reason for it!)Show lessDaleua
my 6 yr old is taking responsibility for managing her own chores!
I bought this to replace the CHART we had on our wall, as we needed to keep rubbing out the check marks on a weekly basis, and it was becoming too much of a hassle. Also because the chart had limited space, I couldn't add any extra task items.
CHORE PAD HD is easy to use, visually interesting, and my 6yr old girl LOVES IT...she visits it every morning and evening and takes responsibility to identifying whether or not she completed the chore/task. We negotiated together the chores, the rewards, and the frequency of the chores, so she was very much a part of agreeing to what needed to be done. It gives a clear indication of what's been done, and what's not...so for example, when she looked at the past week, it was clear to see that she hadn't done anything towards mathletics, and SHE said, "oh that's no good!" and committed to doing better :-)
It's a fun, easy way to keep the little ones attention on their chores, and they get to see daily everytime they earn a star!
The item I like the most is the ability to add or minus stars manually per day, per item. This means that if she didn't brush her teeth properly, then I can minus the star (and so she tries extra hard next time to really earn it back).
it really like it!!!! (however, I think this would only suit kids that are task oriented, self-managers, and have the personalities where there really like to please - oh, and are also competitive).
Ive added 3 people total on our CHORE PAD HD - daughter, mummy and daddy.....daughters takes GREAT pleasure in pointing out daily that she's the winner!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Perfectly Motivating
We have tried so many different tools to encourage/prompt/entice etc our children to do their chores and this seem to work for a few days, then nothing. Chore Pad is a terrific APP that evolves with your child and in our family (4 children) it has helped us to get the chores done with a lovely level of enthusiasm. The brilliant thing is the assortment of rewards you can offer your children - which is only limitied by your imagination. We have rewarded ours with sleepovers, ability to choose their favourite meals, have friends for playdates etc - and how much does this cost - YEP - not a cent! I would thoroughly recommend every family to at least try this APP - it will make life sooooooo much better!Show lessaminney23
The kids are actually helping me. Highly recommended
Since we put this into action my kids have become my helpers. We can keep track of the stars and see how well they are both doing. Well worth it. Priceless in fact!Mrs Minky
