I needed a good guitar tuner, so I thought I would avoid the junk heap, rise above the fray, and pay a few bucks extra. I will definitely not make that mistake again. Have been playing over 20 years and have not met a tuner that frustrated...till now. I use custom tunings, and this app does not like it at all. Worked fine, then . . .
This app worked great for a few weeks. Today it froze for no reason. I forgot that this was a paid app, and i deleted it. (the app store doesn't show the price of an app already installed. This is annoying.) now i'm out $5. Will buy a different tuner today.RealMusicLover8675309
Works extremely well
This app is great, it works exactly as expected. Even in semi-noisy situations, using the iPad microphone, it picks up the tone and allows me to quickly tune my guitars.
The only thing keeping me from a 5 star rating is that I can't use my iRig adapter to plug in and tune. To be fair this may not be a problem with the application. it has also given me a bit of difficulty with alternate tunings, but nothing preventing me from using it.
I would recommend this app to anyone looking for an accurate guitar or bass tuner for their iOS device. It's great.Show lessExt1jdh

This is the only tuner I use now. More accurate than any other I own and easy to use too. I just gifted it to my mom too.tofujohn
Works Great
My daughter got a guitar for Christmas and it was not in tune, so I started looking for an app that would help me tune it. I had guitar lessons as a child, but tuning a guitar by ear is non trivial, at least for me. I tried one free app, but couldn't figure it out, so I took the leap of faith and bought this app. Bottom line, it was worth the money, it was very simple to use and worked great. Just strum each string, adjusting the tension up or down until the diamond centers on the string and the bars on the oscilloscope line up vertically. If you want a user friendly app to tune a guitar, even for beginners, I think you will be happy with this one.Show lessWazMan66

This is a great guitar tuner. The price fits since it makes tuning the guitar so easy, even for a novice like myself. With tuners that only play the chord, it is very hard to match the sounds. With this, you see how sharp or flat your chord is and can adjust it quickly without being afraid that you will snap a chord by accident.
Also, this will let you tune your guitar in 1-2 minutes or less. Super helpful and simple!Show lessvanillaux
