  • Pretty but meh

Beautifully designed but needs more to it. My 20 month old got bored after 2 rounds through the seasons.
  • We love Charley Harper!

Got PABF and other apps (some by Night & Day as well) for my 1 year old and was really bummed when there was no sound. Apple didn't help and recommended contacting app developer...Dave totally helped me figure it out and now I have more sound on my iPad than I know what to do with! There is not many animals, but kids LOVE the repetition. Thanks Night & Day!
  • Awesome!

The 'Peekaboo' apps are awesome! My 16 month old boy loves them! We listen to them over and over again! Well worth the money!
  • Cute, but slightly more difficult than the others

This app is adorable - we have both Peekaboo Farm and Wild. My two year old adores them. However, Forest features smaller, less visible creatures that make it harder for a young child to tap with their fingers or see on the screen. That's the only drawback.
  • Skip it

My son loves peekaboo barn and wild. Peekaboo forest just doesn't have the same feeling. The art is much more "artistic" and much less cartoony, which is a bad thing for a young child if you want them to play with it. The music suffers from the same flaw. It is not fun music like we heard in wild and barn. I'd return it if the app store allowed it.
  • Soothing Interactive Story

Despite what everyone says, This is my FAVORITE Peekaboo App! It's serene and soothing--more of an open, interactive "book" than the somewhat redundant open-close door in Peekaboo Barn. Plus--it's lovely on the iPad. This program invites children to look, listen for and find the animals of the forest. Beautiful, natural scenes and seasons (where's Winter?), and charming little animated critters. My 19mo loves it!
  • Good app, but not what was expected

I'm looking forward to the next peekaboo that is like Barn and Wild. My son really enjoys those. This one was to difficult for him to understand.
  • Artsy, but way boring for a toddler

We're huge fans of Peekaboo Barn & Wild so we decided to give this one a try. Color scheme is boring/stark, many animals are very hard to see moving or small and my son lost interest almost immediately. It's very artistic; I can appreciate it as an adult, but it's not for a toddler. I have a few friends who are also fans of the Peekaboo series and it came up in discussion the other day. We also agreed it's a waste of $$$.
  • Not barn

Graphics are beautiful but didn't grab my little ones attention. Sound cues were also sparse. They also announce the names quickly beating my little one to the punch. not my favorite but glad I have nonetheless.
  • Beautiful, Not Barn or Wild

Graphics are gorgeous but the sound cues before selection were sparse. It seems a bit short as well. I still love the Spanish option. I would be very impressed if they had a Spanish Child voice. My children respond more enthusiastically if the hear children's voices.
