  • Returned to it's former glory

I was able to avoid the update that people had been complaining about, and I can say that this update returns the app back to being probably the best life counter app in the app store. The life displays are a bit smaller, and there are still adds, but these are minor complaints. One new addition is the ability to change the kind of counters that you track, switching between poison and commander damage, which is a nice addition. Overall, a much needed and good update.

  • Was great; now ugly and hard to use

This was an awesome little life tracking app, simple and attractive. Now it's incredibly ugly, and far less usable. Before, you hit a plus or minus button to increase or decrease life, and tapped on different sides of the life totals to increase or decrease by 5 at a time. Now you have to hit the lower corners of the life total to increase and decrease, and the upper corners to increase and decrease by 5. It's incredibly hard to do correctly consistently, and almost impossible to use for an opponent who doesn't know the app.

This is a huge usability fail, and as I mentioned, it's also waaaay less attractive, which is too bad. Bad stuff.

  • Best Life Counter App

I LOVE this app, I just have a couple suggestions:
The ability to add additional Nameable counters. So if I was adding charge counters onto an artifact, I could add a counter and title the counter the artifact's name for easy tracking.
The ability to control the number of life counters there are. So if two people have the app, they can track their own life/counters. Or if there is a 4-way game, one person can have 4 life counters on one screen.
Thanks, these additions would be AMAZING!

  • Very basic

Very average - several other free counting apps out there that are better. Why does rolling the dice hide your life totals until you +\- health again? Surely you could use the blank half of the screen?
  • Basic

Pretty basic 4stars if you had the opinion to make it say you name instead of myself and same with opponent also it would be 5 stars if you could look at history showing who you have beaten and how many times
  • Simple, functional, instantly useful

App has simple, intuitive interface, and a small but effective feature set. I especially like how the iPhone doesn't go to sleep automatically, saving the hassle of unlocking between rounds. Has a place to track a counter for each player, too.
