I can't believe it's only $2 - this game is incredible! Do yourself a favor and just buy it. Controlling the cannon with your fingers puts a completely new spin on Earth-defense games. (This is a review of the iPad version which brings out its full potential.)

If you liked the first version of this game you will be sure to love this one. The guys at Cat in a Box Games took the great stuff from the first game and added some great new features that have made it fresh and added lots of replay value. This is an instant classic that is sure to stay on you iPad or iPhone. Hopefully they follow this up and do a Blue Attack remake!

Don't bother downloading free version. It freezes up before you even get started!

This is an amazing game. Space invaders inspired I suppose. But a million times better and more fun. Graphics 10/10, Sounds 10/10. Playability is top notch. Such a pleasure to play. I just keep coming back for more. Gets very intense in the mid to high levels, but even though it seems to get to the level of impossible, you keep coming back and improving bit by bit. Near endless replay ability.
The screenshots don't really do this game justice. Try it, it just feels good to play.
Ps. Do yourself a favor and turn off the accelerometer controls - they are novel, but too difficult to really be of much use.

I downloaded this app on a whim and started playing it. Four hours later I found that 4 hrs had passed!!

I came across this game by a review in Touch Arcade. They talked about how great the first one was, and after viewing the trailer for this I was just blown away. This has the best music of any iPhone game i've ever played. Being responsible for 6.8 billion lives on earth is actually a bit intimidating, but it adds to the pressure of saving the blue planet called earth from hundreds of red and green little aliens! It has many different game modes, which keeps things interesting. You can play a survive till you die type of game, choose your own level,or compete for awards. It also has it's own strategy on how to deal with certain aliens as well! While i'm not very good yet, i'm sure i'll be keeping this as one of my favorites games on the iPhone.
