Hearts of Space evolved its own unique format — a calm, space-creating mix of ambient, electronic, world, new age, classical, contemplative, and experimental music from many eras and cultures. The breadth and depth of this musical focus is the secret of our longevity. A weekly one-hour show was nationally syndicated on the NPR network starting in 1983 and has been heard by millions of radio listeners ever since. In 2001, we were one of the first independent music producers to offer an online streaming service. While we continue to serve our radio network, our main focus today is our web site and mobile apps.
