Sleep Talk Recorder User Reviews

Oops !

Well I thought I would hear myself speaking of secret formulas or intricate ideas or equations,
Mostly snoring and farting !
But it is worth it, I can also hear my kids and pets during the night .

Well worth it! πŸ‘

Does what it says & does it well. Activation is super quick. To play back a select portion, simply turn device to Landscape to see separate recording bites. Only improvement would be to add a simple copy/edit capability so one can delete the unnecessary bits. Highly recommend this app. Plus the makers have a Facebook page with hilarious animations of their own recordings - well worth a visit. πŸ˜† Link under Settings in the app.πŸ‘Œ

Medical assistance

Great app to play to doctor when diagnosing medical

Learn something new about yourself

I've been told I sometimes talk in my sleep, being multilingual I wanted to find out what I say and in what language. I learned a lot from these recordings and also found out I grind my teeth when stressed, so now I know to get a mouth guard as I wasn't aware how bad it was. It also has an alarm and will let you know how many hours you sleep on average, so it's quite handy

Unsatisfied

I downloaded this app because I was told that I could run it concurrently with sleep timer on a single device, which is not the case. So I downloaded it on the tablet and ran the tablet and the phone together each running their own program. I wanted to see what it is it's waking me up at certain hours of the night showing on my sleep timer. I was very disappointed when I woke up and found a single recording at 11:30 PM, and even further disappointed when I realized that that recording was 24,300 seconds long and the only playback options was play, double speed play, and rewind. Like other people have said it picked up the sound of the fan all night long on its lowest sensitivity setting. In this heat if I tried to sleep without a fan it would change my sleep pattern, my sleep quality, and skew my results

Hilarious

It's funny to hear what you say while you sleep although I personally only sometimes talk, it's still a cool app. 10/10 would recommend

Seriously perfect

All those people giving one star and saying things were bad have not updated their ratings because the producers of the app listened and fixed those things. I think they made a really neat app with tons of potential. I will be purchasing the full version very soon because it's a really cool app.

Tease

My boyfriend talks in his sleep. Sometimes it's amusing, sometimes it's confusing, mostly it's entertaining. This app leaves much to be desired. As many have shared previously, the lowest setting still does not eliminate white noise consistent background sounds leaving the user to attempt to scroll through thousands of seconds to try and recover anything. It's more exhausting than it's worth. Better to get a hand recorder or just write some notes in the middle of the night. Developers take note. I Do not recommend this product unless developers make requested changes.

Fun app turned medical help

I downloaded this app years ago for a laugh. And it came up with some great results; the recordings are clear, and you can choose sensitivity to avoid rustles. It's even recorded me and my partner having a full conversation in our sleep! But since then I've developed night terrors and hallucinations in my sleep, and this app has helped me track at what times they occur, and what patterns exist in my sleep, so it actually has a great medical advantage as it saves me relying on myself or my partner to remember.

Brilliant App

Captures some hilarious stuff you'd miss out on otherwise. Love the fact that it only records when it hears sound so you don't have to trawl through hours of nothing, and you can set the sensitivity level so it doesn't record every rustle of the sheets. Would buy it again in a heartbeat! Only drawback is I've heard a few seriously creepy things, like someone trying hard to unlock my door at 3am while I was at Uni!
