Wow!
I found these apps by accident whilst preparing for my second ever ski trip. I used then for two weeks prior and in the evenings. My first run was so much better than how I left off at the end of the previous year after only 4 days skiing (ever). They really help link the theory and practice in an easy but effective way to learn. I really cannot recommend them enough. Get them all !!!

Used to be amazing but!
Loved the app when first got it a year or so ago! But! Following phone updates the videos no longer play with any sound, so that's made that part of the app pretty useless - update bug fix is needed ASAP!
Excellent and clear - great supplement to lessons!
I've been using this alongside a few beginner lessons at a snowdome and have been very impressed. As others have said, Darren's instructions are really clearly and simply put; I find myself repeating his phrases in my head when I'm practising! I also like the extra sections about putting on boots, using lifts, etc - all really good for someone like me preparing for their first ski holiday and not knowing exactly what to expect. The app also includes a facility for videoing yourself and comparing it with the app, which I've not used but seems like a good feature.
All in all, I'd definitely recommend this for any beginner skier - and I'm already thinking I'd like to have lessons with Darren if I ever visit the resort in France where he works :)

No sound on films
My sound is turned up to full on my iphone4 but there isn't any sound or the volume bar showing during the films! Help please!
Great value and excellent teaching
At first I was cynical what I could from at a ski app, very pleasantly surprised of how clear and well thought out this. I wish all ski instructors were this good. Obviously not a substitute for lessons on the slope but really good for back in the hotel when you need reminding of the techniques. One update needed is to get an iPad version of this.

Ski school beginners
Excellent app, video and commentary clearly illustrate the techniques being taught. Considering the price of a skiing holiday this is a bargain to give the kids a head start.

Before I took a beginner ski lesson I reviewed these video lessons. Once the instructor explained things, I remembered what was taught in these videos and it made sense.
