Made the holiday
I love this app. I am one of those skiers that never seemed to get it together and book private lessons in advance and can't face the group lessons available on the slopes. My skiing has been stuck for the last 3-4 years at intermediate. This app made my holiday because I was able to watch a lesson on the lift and then practice on the run down. All of a sudden I properly understood carving and mogul skiing and I went from adequate to (nearly) knowing what I was doing.
I am still a long way away from those graceful Austrians that have been skiing since birth, but after one holiday with this app, I am enjoying it and feel like I am no longer stuck.

Ski School Advanced
Seems like it could have been a very nice application, but the length of video was very short and didn't really offer enough information to justify the cost.
Very useful clear instruction, recommended.
Darren's explanations of techniques are very good. Showed it to a English Ski instructor while away and he too was impressed, advising his friend to get a copy. Video quality is excellent. Would give it five stars but would have like more lessons / techniques on hard packed / icy conditions. Maybe these are to be added soon as was updated with other videos just over a week ago. Compared to the price of a private lesson well worth the money.

Great App - doesn
Really good app. Modern post carver ski technique clearly explained in a series of short 1 min (ish) videos Works on my Ipod Touch and doesn't need to be online so the perfect chairlift companion (if only the app carried chocolate!). The guy who said he couldn't find bump, powder and crud just never looked in the workshops section. Best of all the filming is from all sorts of really good angles - unlike a 'flesh based' instructor you spend so much time watching from behind but this shows you side on shots of turn initiation and comparisons between stance on fast a slow carved turns.

Great app, Scottmayagirl is just plain wrong
I don't know what app Scottmayagirl is looking at, but don't be mislead by his review. Bumps, off piste tips and carving are in the workshops - which contains more than half of the content of the app!
The presenter/instructor is good and video quality is excellent. A lot cheaper than a private ski lesson.

As a passionate skier, the thing I enjoy most about this app is it really is like having your favourite skiing instructor with you at all times to answer all those questions you have. The lessons are straightforward and clear with good visuals and this advanced app gives great advice and tips for off-piste, skiing crud and powder. Great value for money and what a great idea. I'll definitely be recommending it to friends.

Much more content than lite version!
at 4 quid this app really is great value. there is a ton more material here than the lite version. Im gonna keep coming back for more tips. Well done and thanks for this version!!
