Commodore 64 BASIC was never as useful or as well designed as BASICA or GWBASIC that used to come packaged with MS-DOS, but that's not the fault of this app. The app does what it says it does, and it works pretty well. Plus, it's free!twwfcco

I liked this app when I saw it, and got it straight away. Amazing, except if you type "
10 print "hi"
20 GOTO 10
It will just keep on going and going. There's no way to stop it.

Faithful Simulation
It's a very faithful simulation of the C64's BASIC interpreter. Naturally, since it's not an emulated system, graphics and sound capabilities are absent. But if all you need is a barebones programming environment, and pine for the 80s, this will suit you.JoeCassara
