Junior super smash rules

You need to let children ball three overs because theyโ€™re allowed to win the rules itโ€™s annoying to the scorers to have to hit continue after every ball

Response from developer

Hi, You can set up a custom match type to allow these kinds of rules. If you get stuck, contact our support team: https://support.crichq.com/hc/en-us/requests/new Thanks, Daniel Ryan

App crashes

App is crashing in ipad4. The new version of crichq is not compatible for iPad 4 because it's on iOS 10.3.4 (that's the final version for iPad 4)

Response from developer

Hi, We have released a temporary supported legacy version to NZC. If you contact them, they should be able to help you with the installation. Thanks, Daniel Ryan

Can we get the function to get match reports all throughout a game or session by session would be better? At one point you could put in /report and get it but now it wonโ€™t work

Poor upgrade to 9.0.1

App upgrade to 9.0.1 has removed functionality and easy of being able to find matches.

Taken something that worked ok and made it useless.

Response from developer

Which functionality are you talking about? Contact our support, and we will be happy to help add back something we missed. https://support.crichq.com/hc/en-us/requests/new Edit: can you give 9.1 a try and see if that adds back functionality that you were missing. Thanks, Daniel Ryan

Needs fixing

Not good

Response from developer

Can you report your issue to our support page so we can have a look at fixing it. https://support.crichq.com/hc/en-us/requests/new Update: Give v9.1 a try and see if that improves the situation. Thanks, Daniel Ryan

Latest update makes this app worse to use and navigate

Was doing a reasonably good job, latest update has undone all this work.
Teams results donโ€™t show, finding games is worse.

Response from developer

Hi, The 9.0 update focused on standards and made it easier to find various previously hidden options. Some more minor features were not completed in time and will be added back soon. What do you mean by "Teams results don't show, finding games is worse"? Please contact our support with the details and I will be happy to look at improving this. Edit: Give v9.1 a try and see if that improves the situation. Thanks, Daniel Ryan

Crashing and fall of wickets feedback

Overall I quite enjoy using CricHQ with how easy it is to score and update scorecards for the Cricket Wellington Premier competition games.

Last weekend after the new version of the app came through, we had significant problems with the app on an iPad using iOS 14.1. The app would continuously crash after trying to edit a ball as the wrong batsmen was selected. Our scorer struggled and eventually we had to give up because it started showing the same batter batting twice at the same time. I note that we used a hotspot to set up the match initially then was not connected to the internet during the game. Luckily we had a second scorer using the previous version of the app on another iPad so we were able to continue.

Another thing I noticed using the new version of cricHQ on my iPhone that when looking at the scorecards, the flow of wickets (FOW) is missing to show exactly the score, overs and batter who got out. When I check via the webpage or on a desktop the FOW exists on the scorecard.

This was a useful scorecard feature that should be reinstated on the app!

Response from developer

Hi, I apologise that you were having issues scoring. Version 9.0.5 has been our most stable release yet, but I'll continue to fix the rest of those tricky crashes! The FOW is now back on the scorecard for version 9.0.7 with more fixes. Any other issues please send them to our support so we can sort them asap. Thanks, Daniel Ryan
