Thank you for your review and design proposal. I should have thought of that, that one day someone from down under would comment on its orientation 😁 It is a design choice, I hope you find it useful irrespective of its one-orientation.

It is a compass. It shows the direction the four cardinal points irrespective of the orientation of your device. It is free to download and there are no ads. You’re welcome.

Like the app. I am a Canadian wintering in Arizona. Assume app knows it is a Canadian cell phone and app is still in metric. Can I change to imperial?

Hi hansjoern, new version is out, and your request has been granted :) — thanks for your review! I will update to a version with no camera in a few days, I realize there are not many - if any - floating compass apps in the App Store, and of course this app should have that option as well.
