Nice Inexpensive app

Works really well with standard 3d files.
Cannot load colour obj files. But plain obj files ok.
Good value for money

Garbage

Don’t recommend

Best app, no free version

The app is easy to use and very nice, but the β€œfree” version lets you upload one model and that’s it. Even if you delete the model you uploaded, you can’t upload another. Not worth me paying for, but there’s no option to say watch an ad to upload a file.

Crashes immediately

Can’t even make a single model work app crashes as soon as I upload anything

FAQ

What can I do with the 3D Model Viewer app?

This app allows you to import and view compatible 3D models on your mobile device. You can interact with them by rotating, zooming, and even painting them. Additionally, it offers a simulation of the 3D printing process and an augmented reality mode to place models in your real-world environment.

What 3D file formats does the app support?

The application is compatible with a variety of popular 3D file formats including .stl, .obj (with textures in a .zip file), .abc, .ply, .usdz, .usd, .usda, and .dae. This broad compatibility ensures you can view many of your existing 3D models.

How does the 3D printing simulation work?

The 3D printing simulation allows you to watch a virtual representation of your model being printed from bottom to top. This feature is useful for identifying potential flaws or issues with your 3D model before you commit to using actual printing material, saving you time and resources.

Can I see my 3D models in my room?

Yes, the app features an AR Mode that lets you view your 3D models inserted into your real-world surroundings. You can adjust the scale and rotation of the model to fit seamlessly into your environment, offering an immersive visualization experience.

Is the app free to use?

The application is available for free, with the option for in-app purchases. This allows users to download and explore the core functionalities without an initial cost, while offering additional value through optional purchases.
