User reviews

App closes.

Well that’s it. Every time I try to select a picture from the photo library, it closes/crashes.

Questionable privacy

Showed me my photos before asking for access, went into the settings and it wasn’t even an option to restrict this access on my phone.

Very cool!

Very cool, nice way of showing how the Face ID tech is utilized.

Exciting

I’m not sure what the negative reviewer thinks this app is doing but I understand it is using true dept data from the rgb-d front facing camera. I suggest this reviewer goes and watches the apple demo video about the data stream apple opened up to developers like who created model me ! This may not be perfect but a very exciting way to use real data to create a viable mesh. If this reviewer could only understand how real data is being used here it’s like he / she does not understand any of the depth data mentioned in this apps description and screenshots. This is far beyond guessing depth from a basic 2d image. iPhone “2d” portrait photo has the magical rgb-d as in depth ... data... They may be clueless to the fact that the portrait mode capable iphones are doing this with a depth data based blur not a true optical focal point... This is just scratching the surface. I tried a low light shot and still got good results from the depth data. Amazing 5 stars for leading the way.

Doesn’t work as expected

I didn’t expect this to work at all cause you need a 3D scanner or there’s one app where you scan around an object and it actually makes a model of it. There’s no way to make it 3D from one single image. I gave you 2 stars for effort of making it look real tho.
