Subject: Full-screen ad close (X) button freezes UI on iPadOS 26.6 (iPad 10th gen), same build works
On iPad (10th generation), iPadOS 26.6 (23G71), your app 𝟹𝙳 𝙳𝚛𝚒𝚟𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝙶𝚊𝚖𝚎 𝟺.𝟶 (current App Store version, same build number as on iPhone) shows a full-screen ad. Behavior:
* Tapping Skip on the video works and pauses/hides the creative.
* After Skip, the ad view controller is NOT dismissed; the screen stays on the ad layer.
* Tapping the close (X) button draws a gray highlight box around the button, then the entire UI main thread freezes. Game audio keeps playing (audio thread alive), but all touch input is dead. Only force-quitting the app from App Switcher restores it.
* The same app version on iPhone (same iOS 26.6) dismisses the ad normally via the X button. No freeze.
This matches a known iOS 26 issue where adDidDismissFullScreenContent / the dismissViewControllerAnimated:completion: chain does not fire on iPad window/scene life-cycle (multi-window, Stage Manager, Liquid Glass), causing the ad SDK to deadlock on the main thread while destroying its WebView.
Steps to reproduce on iPad:
1. Open app, trigger a full-screen rewarded/interstitial ad.
2. Wait for Skip, tap Skip.
3. Tap the X close button.
4. Gray box appears, UI frozen, audio continues.
Expected: X dismisses the ad VC and returns to the app.
Actual: Main thread deadlock, must force-quit.
Please adapt the ad presentation/dismiss path to iPadOS 26 UIWindowScene (set GADRequest.scene / present from the correct windowScene.rootViewController, avoid sync WebView teardown on the main thread after non-interactive dismiss).
