About

3DLiftLens turns an iPhone Pro into a survey tool for lift shafts. Point the device at the shaft and it captures the geometry in minutes, instead of the hours a tape measure and two technicians would take. The scan uploads to your company account, where an engineer reviews it, takes the measurements on the model, and produces the survey — without a second visit to the building. WHAT YOU CAN CAPTURE - Standard shaft — the everyday survey - High-precision mode — when the tolerances are tight - Escalator and moving walkway - Staircase and inclined lift — tuned to resolve individual steps IN THE FIELD - Capture a complete shaft with the device you already carry - Pause the recording while you walk to the stairwell, then continue where you left off - Review the scan on site, before you leave the building - See any scan in 3D and export the model when you need it NO SIGNAL, NO PROBLEM Shafts are in basements. Every scan is saved on the phone first and uploads on its own as soon as a connection returns — or with one tap, whenever you choose. Nothing waits on a bar of signal, and nothing is lost because there wasn't one. BUILT FOR THE JOB Shafts are awkward spaces: dark, narrow, and rarely square. 3DLiftLens is built around how they are actually surveyed — from the pit upward, storey by storey, capturing the walls, the door openings, and the projections that decide whether a car fits. PART OF YOUR COMPANY ACCOUNT This app works with a 3DLiftLens company account. Your company administrator creates your account and you sign in here. Everything you capture belongs to your company, not to an individual device. WHICH DEVICES Scanning works on iPhone Pro models, from iPhone 12 Pro onwards, and on iPad Pro. Standard and Plus iPhone models cannot capture a scan. On those devices the app still opens and your existing scans are viewable, but a new survey is not possible. Learn more at 3dliftlens.com

What's New in 3DLiftLens

August 26, 2026

Everything in the app is now available to every account. Export and sharing are unlocked for all users, and there are no separate plans inside the app. WORKS WITHOUT A SIGNAL Scans are saved on the phone first. If there is no connection down in the basement, the scan waits in your list and uploads on its own the moment you are back in range — or with one tap, whenever you decide. Nothing is lost because there was no signal. PAUSE AND CONTINUE You can now pause a scan while you walk to the stairwell or move between floors, then carry on from where you stopped. What you already captured stays exactly where it was. TUNED FOR EACH KIND OF SURVEY Every scan type now uses settings chosen for it. Staircase and inclined lift mode has been reworked to resolve individual steps. A WARNING WHILE YOU CAN STILL ACT ON IT If the device gets hot enough to affect accuracy, you now see it on screen while you are still in the building, instead of finding out from the model afterwards. ALSO IN THIS VERSION - Simpler sign-in: your email and password, straight to your scans - Fixed a crash that could occur on the very first launch - More stable on long scans spanning several floors
