Good app
I like how it shows the paper in the traditional way. I wish I could bookmark articles to read later, and it would track where I left off so I could return to the same spot.
Daily
While you can’t wrap fish with the electric version of the paper, the quality of the journalism is outstanding and easy to read. It is our only access to current events and issues that is not biased, basically propaganda.
We long for the day when both papers clearly separated their factual reporting from the opinion page.

Easy to read online!
I enjoy reading the E edition which looks the same as the print edition. The app is easy to use. I lived in Alaska for 30 years but moved Outside for healthcare reasons. I love keeping up with the Alaska News. I read it it cover to cover every day (except Saturday when it is not published). I enjoy that many of the articles are from the Washington Post so I feel like I am getting to read both papers. I love the outdoor articles on Sundays and the book review of Alaska authors. I recommend it especially if the print edition is not available and/or you want to save paper.

Alaska Reporting
Not just Anchorage, but statewide coverage. News of interest to the circumpolar regions and not necessarily lower 48. With all their financial troubles, it's amazing this state wide paper still can pay for good reporting. Least we can do is support it through this app. Buy a digital subscription. Otherwise, local news will be buried and important issues hidden or overlooked. The app itself functions as it should, at least on the iOS platform.

Great notifications
Good app to get full paper or read single stories based on notifications - and then get a list of other top stories. I like the ADN’s mix of local news and news from other sources.
Improved Website
Over the years, I called ADN a few times to complain about the app and website. Now I want to congratulate ADN for an excellent app and a easy to navigate website for those of us who subscribe to the Anchorage Daily News online.
Love my ADN
I love reading the paper everyday and appreciate your efforts to be a three time Pulitzer Prize winning paper! Thank you for accurate and fair reporting. When I hear other people calling the ADN a”liberal Rag” it chaps my hide and I proudly respond with “It’s a 3 time winning Pulitzer Prize winning Rag!” Thank you!

What a Newspaper should be
I started my subscription 8 years ago before spending a summer touring Alaska and I’ve kept it because it’s the balanced, professional and fun read that I want at the start of my day. Thanks! Gary W
Satisfied
For many years said I wouldn’t give up my beloved print copy of the morning paper. After my robe it was the first thing I “put on” in the morning. But as you perfected this medium, and as my eyes changed, and as I got more interested in the puzzle page, and began to leave behind much of the dreary articles I fell in love with this e-version. I can make large copies of the puzzles for both me and my wife. And i can forward some of your more interesting articles to family members out of state. Plus you folks do a great job of keeping it very user friendly.

Good feed
The layout of the app is intuitive and easy to scroll through articles of interest. Only downside is that you can’t pinch zoom any photos. After some initial difficulties logging in with the phone app versus the web access it appears to be working well.
