Great app.
Does exactly what I need. Very simple to use and well designed. Having one countdown as a badge is also a great touch.
Countdown
It doesn't make sense that this is a countdown app, yet you have to turn it on and off in order for to countdown on your home screen. If that was fixed this would be worth five stars! Too bad.

Would be five stars if the countdown badge on the app updated automatically so that I didn't have to turn it off and on every day

Would be great if you could choose to count down 'working days', i.e. number of weekdays -(optionally) public holidays (which would need to be configurable or regionalised per country/state).
