  • Doesn't work

It won't respond when I click on something....
  • Update

Need to update to the iOS 8 and I can't get passed the title screen
  • Fun

Well the game is pretty fun. I like the story line and the art work is nice. Tiny idea, can you make an update that lets you know in what levels some undiscovered fruit and diamonds are please.

  • Minor Flaws but Fun Overall

As a regular on HitmanN's forum I saw various sprites and notes about the game awhile before release. When I saw the note that it was up in the App Store I immediately grabbed it and started playing. Since then I have beaten each girl's story and played the remaining two and collected many of the game's achievements. As with the other reviewers I am a bit curious why portrait mode was chosen for the game and I have a few minor gripes about the controls themselves, overall though I enjoy the game. For those curious but unsure if it is worth the price I read a 'Lite' version should be coming out soon.

  • love HitmanN's artwork, but implementation is terrible

I bought the game because I love HitmanN's art. The game itself could have been much better if it weren't so frustrating to play.

There are a lot of things I feel wrong with the game. First off, the controls: the game was designed with the iPhone vertically in mind, probably to show full body art, but the controls are designed for two-thumb operation at the very bottom. Unless you have baby hands, there's no way you're going to be comfortable doing that in portrait orientation. It really should have been done in landscape, like most other games.

Secondly, there's the lack of instruction. Sure, it's a seemingly simple game on the surface, but a lot of things are left for you to figure out with trial and error. What do you get for leveling up? What does the sprinkler do? What does the water cannon do (got that while shooting a whole bunch of enemies, and mashing the A button made the explanation page disappear, never to return again)? Can you turn off the alarms after you've been spotted? Are you really stuck using one girl for the whole campaign?

The most frustrating part is that the game was designed around avoiding falling to your death. With terrible controls already, you'll be falling quite a lot. It sure doesn't help that the death screen says 'Gameover' with just a retry button.

Then, there's also the lack of gratification for completing a campaign. You get an intro sequence for the start of each campaign, but when you complete a campaign, all you get is a kick to the campaign select screen. Where's the satisfaction of completing the level?

All in all, good job on the art, but please playtest the game with non-biased people next time.

  • Hmmm

I am perplexed by this app. There are some strange decisions that were made, for example:

The bad- this game is TINY on the iPad. The game screen uses less than 50% of the screen, and only works in portrait mode. What side scroller doesn't use landscape mode??

There is WAY too much dialogue, and no way to bypass any of it.

The levels are are literally about 15 seconds long, then you move to another level. At least from the few minutes I have played.

The good- the music is awesome, and really sounds great over headphones.

The idea is great, the implementation is questionable.

I think this game has a lot of potential, but right now, I would not recommend buying it.
