If you know some Russian and just need a large store of words, this is for you. If you want something for beginners, choose another program for beginners. Free Version not very helpful for non-speakers
Almost useless for non-speakers. Words are often not practical. You have to pay to hear the Russian word pronounced. All you get is a written Cyrillic equivalent of the English word. Might be helpful to someone who has studied Russian for a couple of years. Not useful to the casual beginner looking for an easy introduction.Show lessJsp8x

Good for upper intermediate level
I have been using the app for about two weeks now and I think it is very good for upper intermediate level. Certain advanced level vocabulary however is missing but I hove the developers are working on that.Ilgar Mehti

Russian Dictionary Free App
I tried the free "Russian Dictionary" and was thoroughly disappointed! It is not a Russian Dictionary AT ALL!! It is an English dictionary! It allows one to enquire only English Words, not Russian words!!! It is therefore, by definition, an English dictionary!!
I can look up word after word in your dictionary and cannot find familiar Russian words for even simple things, for example, welcome does not come up with the Russian equivalent пожаловать. It comes up with a few nouns, verbs & adjectives but not the word of interest! What value is a tool like this?
