Pleasantly Surprised
I gotta say, as soon as i saw the in-app purchase thing and a point system, I had major doubts, but it was free so I checked it out.
Nice surprise, you get 10,000 points to start and each wallpaper only costs 5. There are lots of editing abilities. Perhaps editing raises the price of the wallpaper, I don't know. I haven't felt the need to edit. You can add shelves or app icon borders to any wallpaper.
It also allows you to preview what the wallpaper would look like as a background or the lock screen. Very helpful.
The catch is there are lots of things to spend points on, you only get a handful of free categories. The rest you have to pay for at 7000 points or more. You only get their database, you have to spend points to open up google and bing search engines.
The puzzle game is pointless and a waste of space, IMO.
You have to spend some time playing with all the buttons. I didn't know there were categories until fifteen minutes of playing around. A quick tutorial the first time you launch the app would have been nice.c-b-w
Provides Good Features
This wallpaper app is definitely a good update to the old one. The interface is much smoother and the ads are not irritatingly placed. I like the whole points system. Plus, it does at the end of day provide a lot of features! I didn't know you could actually listen to music here haha! All in All - a great appGM Romen
