I don't get it
Yeah, it has a dvorak keyboard, but the buttons are so small, there's no space bar, and you have to copy text to the clipboard. Capitalization is difficult. Also why is there a camera screen in the background and camera controls on the main screen? Then I have to hit an American flag button to get to the typing part. It makes no sense at all.

I don't see the point of using the camera as a background. You can't turn it off, either. I think more time should have been spent designing the actual keyboard than worrying about integrating the camera into a NOTEPAD app. It doesn't make any sense, whatsoever.

Dvorak users will find this useful
If you prefer a Dvorak keyboard, then for the iPad it appears that this is your only free option. I found the divided keyboard too small and weird initially, before I discovered that you can easily scale the size of the keyboard up and down to suit your needs. As far as functionality, this has keyboard options that I wish were built-in to the iPad.
That said as a writing app, this leaves a bit to be desired. the background and font are distracting and not particularly attractive, though that's subjective, and may not bother some. I wouldn't try writing a novel; stick to short notes. If you don't need Dvorak or a custom keyboard, I don't think I'd bother.
