Reviews of Oh, Ranger! ParkFinder™

  • Tried several times

Have installed this several times, but refuses to search. First version a few years ago was great. Could pull up the area I was in on the map, ask it to search for campgrounds, and I would see all in the area. Pretty easy. Then it quit last year, would time out. Tried downloading a current version and first got a fantastic satellite image, but no identifiers to give ma an idea of where I was looking at. Tried again and now won’t do anything but let me choose what activities.
  • App unresponsive on first page

This app doesn’t even open. Can’t click the box on the very first page to type a location. Like it’s grayed out. Useless. Don’t waste your time.
  • Find “lunch stop”

We have used app this for a variety of reasons. One of the best uses we have made of it is when we are driving long distances. Instead of going into a restaurant where we continue sitting we find a park and do a mini hike. Thanks Ranger.
