Educational & Fun
This game is fun and so educational. When i first bought tis game, i have the thoughts of buying this game for my niece only but that's not the case now because i'm stuck with some easy words. Nevertheless, my younger niece find it fun to play and learn at the same time with the cute graphic implemented. I'm strongly suggest this game for kids and also adult coz u will b scratching ur head over some simple words. Highly recommended for $0.99.
There is also few categorical words which i find it interesting where i can choose to guess the fruit names, vegetable name etc...Hopefully more updates on more categorical of words to make this game more interesting.Show less[V]agrant
Nice pick-up and play game!
This is a very nice hangman game. It is nice to see the kangaroo/gorrila falls if you popped all the balloons and still fail to spell the word. Another great feature is that you could choose the level of vocabulary to be use in the game.
Well, i think there are rooms for improvement on its graphical presentation. I didn't quite like it. Other than that, the words on the lower side of the screen also needs to be centralised, to look a bit better. Apart from that, this is a nice game! Very nice pick-up-and-play game for both adults and the kids.Show lessliewjfy
Drop a gorilla instead of HANG MAN!
<Ballony word> is a great game similar to hangman but BETTER.
I like the idea of dropping instead of hanging;)
The story of the game starts with a gorilla(Gordon) and a Kangaroo(Kendra) floating in the air with balloons.
You have to save them by picking the right word shown on balloons with 7 chances to make correct guess.
If you make the wrong guess, the balloon will pop and drop your animal friend to the ground:(
It is a great game to play for everyone.
Especially, it makes enjoyable with your kids, friends, and Family.
If you want to create bonding with children, this will definitely help;)
<Graphics & Sound>
The graphics in "Balloony word" are 2d and very simple.
It could be boring looking in other hangmangames.
However, using snowy sky as a back ground makes the game much more interesting and appealing.
Music in the game is very cute and catchy that makes you hum the song all day;)
<Handling>
Handling is well done but it could be nicer if balloons were bigger.
Sometimes small balloons occurs miss tapping on iPhone.
"Balloony word HD" for iPad had no trouble since it is bigger.
<Price>
This game is priced perfectly.
$0.99 for iphone and ipad but you should be careful not to confused with "Ballony word HD"
which can be installed in iPad only.

Alternative to HangMan
This is a cute alternative to hangman for adults or older children who can already play hangman
It says grade k-2nd grade, but I think it depends on your kid. My almost 5 year old is nowhere nearly ready for Hangman, but yet I have friends with 6 year olds that would probably do well.LantauMama
