Wonderful

This app is great for creating a drone to practice playing various scales against. And I really appreciate both the light and pro versions. I want to thank the developers for not forcing a subscription model on users even in the full version. Highly recommended. The limit to the light version is that you can play for one minute before you have to restart the selected configuration. It lets you sample ALL the instruments for that minute. Very generous. However, Itโ€™s great to have both versions. The light version automatically gives you one minute practice sessions, I use it to go from tonal center to tonal center as a warm up. The full version allows you to go deeper into a given key and rhythm. Wonderful. Thank you so much!

A gimmick, this app is simply an advertisement.

ยฃ25.99 for the actual app. Definitely not worth it seeing as you can sample from this app. I would buy the proper version if it wasnโ€™t a rip off. Out of principle, stops me from giving away so much money for little in return.

Promising but stops when you are just getting started...!

Mr

Exactly what I was looking for! Some excellent features. Get it

stunning, amazing sounding app!!

I have tried the free lite version. i am goingnto purchase the full pro ! this app sounds amazing ! beautiful! tabla, harmonium etc.. so many options . the full version is expensive but the free version is amazing - the pro will be too!!

Stops playing after a minute

Prompting to buy full app, not useable!

Nice app

Nice app for hindustani musicians. Sound quality of the tanpura and tabla bols is very good. The tabla dayan,โ€˜Katโ€™,โ€˜Kiโ€™ and โ€˜Gheyโ€™ sounds natural but โ€˜Dhinโ€™ and โ€˜Dhaโ€™ has too much bass.
In vilambit laya, the excess bass does not seem to show up but in madhya laya, the Teentaal sounds really awkward...not smooth and natural.
The bayan should sound more smooth and flexible.

Good. But so expensive!

I love this app. It is very well done and professional. I wish the pro version were less expensive!

Good but limitations

Missing the bass on the iPhone speaker. Good for practice but the full version is kind of pricy app at $35.99. Then one might as well spend the money and get a decent electronic tabla. iPhone speaker just doesn't do justice to this type of app. If the price was like $5 or so I am sure many people would buy it to keep handy but $35.99 is asking for justification.

They took care of the problem, thanks!

I bought the pro version and was enjoying it until I downloaded an update today, November 21st, 2012. After updating, I only get the lite version and the pro version no longer shows up on my purchases. What gives?

Otherwise it was a good app until this happened. I'll give it a better rating if they take care of this problem in a timely manner.

John

They fixed all that in the pro version, and very quickly. Now I've written a better review.
