Crashes and/or doesn’t find laptop
I’ve been using this remote control app with the main VDJ software on my MacBook for many, many years. It’s always worked really well, provided both my phone & laptop are on the same network.
BUT, something screwy happened with app and the latest VDJ build. The app and main VDJ software simply can’t find each other anymore. If they do find each other (and it’s pretty rare), the app either crashes immediately or it’s showing inaccurate information about what’s loaded on my decks.
Please get this issue fixed!!! It worked beautifully before, but now it’s completely useless!!Show lessI told you "Pita!"
Connectivity
Need connectivity to be better as when on a public network it will not work so when doing a gig it will not connect, and another thing is cannot do anything until it finds laptop on that network. Feels out of date after spending money on it.DJ in Scotland

New version Dec 2023 is not fit for purpose
At least the old version was stable and usable - the new release is flaky and basically unusable
It crashes connection if the iPhone changes apps or locks. Feedback of most controls fails and dumping the app and restarting does not always reconnect. Needs major debug.DGmulti
Fader for Sampler.
Where did the fader go for the samples page. This was really handy to have the ability to fade out the samples from the iPad as you could use it along side a controller and have all your samples on it like a sound board. You could then use the fader to fade the sample out but it’s gone!!!! Bring back the fader please!!😭Show lessPorky37

EDIT!!!!! Hahahaha. I must retract from my previews review… it just failed and crashed the app on my Mac. LOL. Please fix 🥹😅 First I must say that of all the years I’ve been using the app, there was just a small period of time where it failed… A lot! But with that out of the way, I must say that on the last 3 years, it’s been working pretty good. Today, I’m at a party and the app updated with me not noticing. I just connected it and I must say; it is actually working very well and is looking a lot better. Very responsive, no lag and can be used as a virtual controller in certain easy gigs. Thank You Virtual DJ for finally updating the app. It was long due, but thank you!Show lessDj Gelo
