  • Alright

Good on learning sequencing, however does not catch the attention of kids for a very long time. After about 3 minutes they are ready to go to another app. My 23 year old, 10 year old and 5 year old had same response.
  • Too expensive

Tis app is ok, but waaay too expensive for what it offers
  • To automated! Let kids do it instead

One of the chief philosophies of Montessori is to let kids do it themselves and not have someone else do it for them.

The pink tower exercise normally teaches children many skills, but this application reduces it to just finding the next largest block.

    Everything else is automated.

While rotating and placing blocks on the iPad is hard a better compromise could be made. Allow at least the option of moving the block and having it click in place.

    Developer Response

This review is pretty old - from 2011! Today the app doe allow children to choose to move the blocks manually or automated. The automated function has been used by experts with children with autism, so we didn't want to remove that function. Thanks!
  • Great for idea to take to the classroom

I bought this game for my kids, and they love it!! I'm a montessori teacher and my kids come to school with me. After the weekend of playing this game, they went to school and started doing the patterns and completely stunned my boss. The one thing that I do wish was that the kids could place the tower blocks in the design instead of the compute doing it. Otherwise this App is approved by me a mom and a montessori teacher!

  • Pink tower!

This is a wonderful app for Montessori children. Our oldest daughter who graduated from Montessori went right to work pulling our real Montessori tower from the shelf and recreating your extension activities. Wonderful visual. Need more challenges like the combination of largest, smallest, larger, smaller... That made my four year old think! Our two year old quickly caught on and could play too. We request the brown stairs next...red rods, or combination of the two for challenging older children. Great start to many more montessori favorites!
