I Got robbed.
I purchased this app in 2017 when it was a ONE time payment of $2.99 now they went into subscription mode and my purchase got erased from the App Store. It is now as if I had never paid anything. I get adds now unless I subscribe. I contacted support hobbyist software, sent them a copy of my receipt and they did not respond. Not sure if it’s them or Apple but it’s bad just wiping clean a purchase.Show lessAztlan956

Did exactly what it says it does
Easy to set up and use, worked straightaway, streamed without issue and quality very good - I’ve hundreds of DVDs, some of films not available on iTunes, and have been trying to figure out quick and easy way to stream them - finding this app solved the problem. Well worth £2.99 subscription.Senbazuru
Doesn’t work.
Pc program says it works with windows xp yet when installing on windows 7 it says I need to install net framework. I’m not ruining my machine with that.HDDoc
Download The Genuine VLC Player...
... instead of this second-rate knockoff. The 'developers' have even used the icon for the genuine software. This app is near to being a scam, and so it deserves a rating of 0 stars.
I downloaded this app purely to point out that the genuine VLC Player does everything that the paid-for version of this copy can do, and much better. Furthermore, VLC Player is free-of-charge, being supported by Voluntary Donations.

Continuous play
This paid for version should have a play all option as it’s really annoying having to keep selecting each video in the streaming list when if there was a play all or tag option guys. Ad free yes but nothing else’s?Sasha Louis

There was an update last week, since the update which was the only change app no longer works. On remote computers all firewalls are off and even when they are not all tests pass however cannot connect to remote computerstgater
