  • Cool app - but missing some things

I love using the app as part of my owl pellet dissection in my food chain/web unit. My high school students love the technology. But there are a few problems... In the ID section, the veterbra are not labeled by species. It just shows pics of the different vetebrae. And in the ID section, it has students identify forelimbs and hindlimbs - But in the data entry, it asks for humeri, tibia, and femurs. My students didn't know what the humeri, tibia, and femurs looked like, because the app didn't identify the bones to that level of detail. Either the database needs to change, or the ID section needs to have pics of those bones too. I think with some updates the app would be great.
