Wasn't useful for me
For the clock I tried regulating, the reading kept on alternating between 2 min/hr fast and 2 min/hr slow without me even touching the clock. So what do I do? Make the clock faster or slower? Go figure!
Clock timing app
Excellent app, great for timing clock calculates expected beats per hour
Review
Works as advertised. Note that when using the iPhone earbud microphone one must use the highest sensitivity so the clock ticking must be fairly loud.
R
Great app. Use it solely for pocket watches and works great
not sensitive to watches
tried it on my automatic (Valjoux 7750) and unfortunately the iPhone nor its remote mike did not pick up the ticking. and therefore the app was completely useless to me.
Ya never know if ya neva give it a go
Oh well, its only money.

Will not calibrate to my watch.
This app will not calibrate to my watch through a microphone. Maybe a piezo?
Clockmaster
I love this app, used it many times to listen to my watch and clock repairs. Easy to use and made some great graphs and datasets using Excel.

Waste of time
Useless. Doesn't work. Screen touch points don't respond. Even the Help section only reads half way and then stops. Total waste of money.
Waste of money
Expensive app, waste of money as upgrade cost Β£13,99. Thought that for the price I paid it should work, non of that all, Kello is far better, and affordable.
Great App
Just started working on our Ridgeway grandfather clock that my wife broke. Not knowing anything about clock repair this handy app helped me adjust the pendulum and crutch but also enabled me to time the anchor which had gotten loose. You need patience, the microphone that came with your iphone and a lot of silence. I would definitely recommend this app and itβs a lot better than using an untrained ear. I just made sure the clock was level and the pendulum swing had stabilized before timing.
