Simple in a good way
Lots of content presented in an uncomplicated manner. Austere like the German language.
Just words
There are no dialogues, no games, no pictures. Think of thisas aset of flashcards with pronunciation. It's useful for review, but you will not be able to do much with German using this application.
English - german
It's a nice and simple app, and I like that if u do a chapter 100% correct u get a star.
I think its worth my money, I use it a lot and do the chapters over until I know the word without looking at the alternatives. As it's so quick to start and stop I tend to use it more often when I have a free minute.
Suggestions to developer:
It could have had an English to german alternative as it is harder to do it this way around. It's a lot easier to understand then to speak and I think this would help having an English to german option.
Another option of saving words that you find extra hard to remember would also be very useful.

Very good App
Love this app. Very helpful with common phrases. Would be very helpful if the speech pronunciation was a little slower though.

Decent Enough, Lot
Generally, the application does what it claims - providing pronunciations for common German words and phrases. Overall, the user interface is graphically well presented. But for such an uncomplicated application there are a surprising number of programming mistakes. Under Zahlen (Numbers) for instance, dreihundert (300) is given a pronunciation of zweihundert (200) and vierhundert (400) is given a pronunciation of dreihundert (300). Under 'Die Kleidung' (clothes) the term 'anzienhen' is incorrectly pronounced as 'abziehen'. Words are also occasionally misspelled. Finally, the application has crashed several times.

Not Great
Nothing more than a word & phrase dictionary and soundbank. Repetitive multiple choice does not really aid learning. Spend a few pounds more and get an integrated learning package.
Doesn't work on ipod touch 4g
Purchased this app for ipod touch 4th generation and it would not download to my ipod. The message I get says it is not compatible. Waste of money.
App won
Bought and paid for. The app shows up in my Itunes library, however, it will not sync with my Ipod Touch. Haven't heard from Wie Geht's yet but we will see.
