Have a brand new 250 GB, or whatever the exact #GB is, iPhone 7 +. Chose six pictures to delete data on. Spinning windows is all I get. Try to request help "your device is not set up for emails" Many people will be surprised to hear that.Catalina 7

Great App, solved my problems.
I've been having issues with my iPhoto library and time, date and location info which is not embedded in photos or videos when exported. This app was one of the only apps I found to help me correct the issue and display the information correctly in the photos app in iOS. I tried using fancy apps like Photogene as well as others but found Pixelgarde to be the most effective and only app to produce satisfactory results. I wish there was an iPad app and really hope the developer creates one.Show lessburnbad
Best Exif Lat-Lon Editor for iOS Devices
I needed an Exif editor to fine tune or add lat-lon coordinates created by some other so-so apps. Moreover, I also want to be able to use the same lat-lon coordinates on a group of pictures where neither landmark names nor physical addresses existed for the app to process the locations. This Pixelgarde app met my requirements and then some.
I also like the app for user flexibility on choosing or creating Exif editing profile (paid version only.) Most of the times, I require only two items for editing: Add Title and Change Geotag. With a modified profile, I can quickly do one or both field editing and not be bothered with or seeing other un-needed Exif items.
The "Pixelgarde Web Safe Photos Album" feature is a really nice feature, too. I use this album to discern what pictures have been geocoded for use in iPhoto. Most important, I use this album to deduce and delete from the photo library the non-geocoded photo vis-a-vis the identical but geocoded twin.
One last thing (I heard this three words said by someone before...), the app's full-featured 3-map mode (Hybrid, Satellite, and Standard) makes viewing/editing on my retina display iPad pleasant and enjoyable. A virtual strode down memory lane no less.
If you need both an Exif viewer and editor, Pixelgarde is the one to get. Period.Show lesstango bleu

I don't give a lot of 5 star reviews but this one warrants it. I'm working on a blog on a subject that's very polarizing and the last thing I want is people pulling location info to find out who/where I am. I searched the web looking for ways to remove location data and almost everything I found involved a process where the files had to be moved between my iPhone and computer, which kind of defeats purpose of using iPhone for it to begin with.
I happened to find a reference to this one on a message board, and almost didn't download because the small number of reviews were either 5 stars or a low number from someone who said it didn't work or do what they needed. I figured the 5 star people just worked for the company, I've seen that happen before, but gave it a chance and I love it- the free version does exactly what I need it to and for the majority of people who just want to view/remove location data I can't imagine a better app. So anyone giving it a low rating is an idiot.

Removes all personally identifiable info
I post a lot of iphone photos on the web and was wary of my gps location being stored in each photo, but not enough to do anything about it. Then one day I was browsing my picasaweb albums and saw that the extended exif data also included my FULL NAME like "Jane Doe's iPhone" under the camera field! Unacceptable. I searched a while and found this app. It's simple and easy to use and does exactly what I want it to do: scrub my files clean. I only wish the menu structure was a bit more efficient by having the "modify" button on the photo page next to View Data and Map It, rather than only being accessible from the index page. I'm using a Verizon iPhone 4 and it works fine. Crashed once, I restarted the app and it was fine.Show lessInfoplayr

Before I had kids I wouldn't have thought twice about my information being buried in a photo online. However, now with 2 young kids safety and privacy are my #1 concern.
